Reeds Construction is a family-owned and operated general contractor built on quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and doing the job right. As a fully licensed and insured Michigan builder, we provide complete residential and commercial construction services, handling projects of every size from start to finish.

Led by Dean Reeds III, a former union carpenter with over three decades of experience, the company brings generations of hands-on knowledge to every project. Dean has spent his career building everything from custom homes and major additions to commercial projects, bringing the knowledge and attention to detail that only comes from decades in the field. Dean is joined by his son, Tanner, and daughter, Alex, making Reeds Construction a true family business built on hard work and accountability.

Our team can do it all, and we only believe in doing things right. Whether it's a custom home, an addition, a kitchen remodel, a new deck, steel roofing, vinyl siding, finished basements, garages, pole barns, commercial build-outs, or just about anything in between, we have the experience to get it done right.     Dean Reeds III

    OWNER

    Donald Dean Reeds III is a licensed builder and former union carpenter with more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. He began his career working on exhibit builds for auto shows, and has spent decades honing his skills across residential and commercial projects. An Ypsilanti native, he resides fulltime in Gladwin, MI — but can often be found on jobsites all over the the state.

    Dean leads Reeds Construction alongside his only son and oldest daughter, where he blends his deep expertise in construction with a family-first approach to quality, integrity, and hard work.

    Alexandra Reeds

    OPERATIONS

    Alex Reeds is the eldest of the three Reeds siblings and the team member behind the scenes at Reeds Construction. She handles everything from billing and payroll to writing bids, drafting contracts, and managing the company’s website and social media.

    With a degree in Psychology from Ferris State University and an MBA from Wayne State University, Alex blends business insight with a people-first approach to keep projects organized, clients informed, and the family business running strong.

    Tanner Reeds

    Tanner Reeds is the only son of the Reeds family and works alongside his father on projects across Michigan. A 2020 graduate of Gladwin High School, Tanner brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a deep sense of pride to every job site.

    He is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Mid-Michigan Community College, preparing to carry the family legacy forward with both hands-on experience and a strong foundation in business.
