Reeds Construction is a family-owned and operated business rooted in craftsmanship, trust, and hard work. Led by licensed builder Dean Reeds III, a former union carpenter with over three decades of experience, the company brings generations of hands-on knowledge to every project. Dean works side by side with his son Tanner, a dedicated laborer with a strong work ethic and a growing foundation in business, and his daughter Alex, who manages operations, communications, and everything behind the scenes. Together, they take pride in delivering quality work and personalized service to homeowners across Michigan.

We specialize in both residential and commercial construction, offering services that range from steel roofing and vinyl siding to custom homes, additions, interior remodels, and commercial build-outs. Whether it's a new home, a refreshed space, or a business ready for growth, we bring the same commitment to quality, transparency, and craftsmanship to every project.

  • Dean Reeds III

    OWNER

    Donald Dean Reeds III is a licensed builder and former union carpenter with more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. He began his career working on exhibit builds for auto shows, and has spent decades honing his craft across residential and commercial projects. An Ypsilanti native, he resides fulltime in Gladwin, MI — but can often be found on jobsites all over the the state.

    Dean leads Reeds Construction alongside his son and oldest daughter, combining deep expertise with a family-driven approach to quality, integrity, and hard work.

  • Alexandra Reeds

    OPERATIONS

    Alex Reeds is the eldest of the three Reeds siblings and the force behind the scenes at Reeds Construction. She handles everything from billing and payroll to writing bids, drafting contracts, and managing the company’s website and social media.

    With a degree in Psychology from Ferris State University and an MBA from Wayne State University, Alex blends business insight with a people-first approach to keep projects organized, clients informed, and the family business running strong.

  • Tanner Reeds

    Tanner Reeds is the only son of the Reeds family and works alongside his father on projects across Michigan. A 2020 graduate of Gladwin High School, Tanner brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a deep sense of pride to every job site.

    He is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Delta College, preparing to carry the family legacy forward with both hands-on experience and a strong foundation in leadership.
